First Businesses
2012 — got tired of missing every birthday and holiday. Started a limo business with my wife Gintare. Built it. Ran it 365 days a year.
2014 — Uber and Lyft killed the industry. We couldn't compete on price. Sold everything by the end of the year.
2015 — started a mobile car detailing business because I've always loved cars. Built it. Sold it in 2017.
Rock Bottom
After I sold the detailing business, everything fell apart. Nothing worked. My family started worrying about me — said I was drinking too much, lying, not the husband or father I should be.
I'll never forget the day I saw my mother praying to God. She said, "I'm done with Glenn. He's all yours now." That was rock bottom.
My wife Gintare and I decided to start over. We had nothing. A friend named Andrew gave us a floor for one night. Then a hotel at $800 a week while we figured it out.
The Drive That Changed Everything
I found a job two hours away in Ft. Myers. We packed a U-Haul and drove there. Couldn't get approved for housing. Lost the deposit. Two kids hungry in the back seat. Almost no money left.
Drove on to Naples. Applied to Sierra Grande as a last shot. Bad credit. No income. They approved us. The day my wife and I walked into Publix to buy groceries on the way to our new home — we both cried.
That's where the turn started.
The Build
Started helping homeowners avoid foreclosure. Then more transactions. Hundreds. Worked with Platinum Closing Agents.
Early 2022 — became a Grant Cardone Licensee. Joined the mission to impact business owners worldwide using the same methods Grant has used to generate billions in sales.
By 2024 — Certified 10X Elite Coach and Mentor under Grant Cardone, one of 16 in the world at the time. Today — 52-agent real estate team at eXp, $14.4M in YTD volume, $19M+ generated for my partners. Zero spent on cold leads.
The Lesson
I don't tell this story to sell hustle. I tell it because it taught me the lesson the hard way — hustle never saved me. Structure did.
